Kota's First Children's day

In Japan,5th May is Children's day.

In ancient Japan,

it was important day to avoid misfortune.

Many incantations were done at court.

In the middle pf Edo,

this manner became popular event

to widh young boy's health and

success.

We wish children's health and safe

by setting armour and helmets

(or armed dolls)

at home.

Kota had first Children's day

lastweek.

We went to Naoki's parents house

and had great dinner together.

That armour and helmets are Naoki's.

When naoki was baby,

his parents gave him.

They looks really cool and still great condition!
